March 16, 2012 | 11:07 am

A man was hit in the face by a stray bullet Thursday night outside the Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Sacramento.

Police say the man was there for a church activity, when he walked into the parking lot during a “gun battle” between two cars.

A bullet from one of the cars hit the man in the jaw area. Cops found him lying in the parking lot. He was taken to the hospital, and is in stable condition.
