Crime alerts for Manchester Square and 9 other L.A. neighborhoods

Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 10 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.

Seven neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Manchester Square (A) was the most unusual, recording six reports compared with a weekly average of 1.9 over the last three months.

Silver Lake (H) topped the list of three neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 20 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 13.5 over the last three months.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for March 8–March 14, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
