'Whitey' Bulger's girlfriend reportedly considering a guilty plea
The girlfriend of alleged mob boss James "Whitey" Bulger may plead guilty in federal court in Boston to a charge of helping him avoid capture, according to a published report.
Catherine Greig faces a federal charge of conspiracy to harbor and conceal a fugitive. Her trial is scheduled to begin in May.
Greig and Bulger were arrested in Santa Monica in June. Bulger is accused of participating in 19 killings in the Boston area. He was on the lam for 16 years before being arrested. Greig was 60 and Bulger 81 at the time of their arrests.
