Bear raids trash can outside Glendale home

Glendale bearA bear has been spotted raiding a trash can outside a home in Glendale, one week after a bear made multiple visits to a La Crescenta neighborhood.

A resident took several pictures of what appears to be a black bear rummaging through the garbage, looking for food.

The animal left after its dinner, leaving a mess in the front yard.

It's unclear whether it's the same bear seen in La Crescenta.

Last week, the bear made its way into a garage and managed to open a refrigerator and feast on some Costco meatballs.

"He had steam coming out of his nose, and he had food on his face," homeowner Joey Ball told KTLA. "As soon as I saw him, he looked at me I thought 'Uh-oh!' So I locked the door on the dead bolt. You could hear him eating, slapping his gums."

The bear came back a couple more times after that.
