2 arrested in bomb threats against Alhambra High School

A student and a former student at Alhambra High School have been arrested in connection with a series of bomb threats at the campus, police said Monday.

The school has received at least six threats by telephone since the beginning of the year, the most recent on March 15.

No explosives have been found, but the threats disrupted the campus and interrupted classes.

Police said the arrests were made Friday, and investigators have been preparing a case to present to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. The names of the suspects were not released.

Officials for the Alhambra Unified School District say they will proceed with appropriate disciplinary action against the student.
