Actor Michael Madsen arrested for alleged cruelty to teenage son
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies arrested actor Michael Madsen, whose tough-guy image landed him roles in "Kill Bill" and "Reservoir Dogs," on suspicion of cruelty to a child stemming from a fight with his teenage son, a department spokesman said Friday night.
Madsen, 54, appeared under the influence of alcohol when deputies responded to a call at 2:15 p.m., said Deputy Peter Gomez.
Detectives from the Special Victims Unit were dispatched to Madsen's Malibu home to investigate suspicion of physical abuse, Gomez added.
The actor was being held at the Lost Hills station in lieu of $100,000 bail, the spokesman said.
