80-degree weather, dry winds expected to hit Southern California

February 21, 2012 | 11:04 pm

Temperatures across inland areas of Southern California are expected to be in the 80s Wednesday as warm gusty winds blow across the region, forecasters said.

Northeast winds area expected to reach 25 mph, with gusts from 40 to 50 mph, the National Weather Service said.

The warm weather will result from high pressure, which is expected to last at least through Friday and keep temperatures above normal, the weather service said.

The region is expected to experience a cool-down beginning Saturday.
