Teacher's aide pleads no contest to sexually molesting student, 13

An Antelope Valley teacher’s aide pleaded no contest Wednesday to sexually molesting a 13-year-old male student she was tutoring, the L.A. County district attorney’s office said.

Holly Marie Polson, 35, pleaded no contest to all four counts of lewd acts on a child under 14, prosecutors said in a statement.

Antelope Valley Superior Court Judge Hayden Zacky took the plea and will sentence Polson when she returns to court March 29.

She faces a maximum of 14 years in state prison.

Prosecutors said Polson, an instructional aide at Shadow Hills Intermediate School in Palmdale, sexually molested the boy between May 29 and June 10 last year in a classroom and in Polson’s car.

The child’s mother reported the incident to authorities, according to prosecutors.
