Lindsay Lohan in court before 'SNL' appearance

Lohan in court Jan 2012
Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to return to court Wednesday for a progress report hearing on her probation for shoplifting a necklace from a Venice jewelry store and driving under the influence in 2007.

Last month when the 25-year-old actress appeared in court for a similar probation check, she received a positive report from L.A. County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, who reported Lohan was on track to complete her required 480 hours of community service in March.

Lohan pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of theft for stealing a necklace from a Venice jewelry store in 2011. At the time, she was already on probation for a 2007 drunk-driving conviction.

"Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work," Sautner told Lohan at a hearing in December. "You are doing well, and I would like to see it continue."

Lohan has been performing most of her community service at the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

She is scheduled to host the March 3 episode of "Saturday Night Live."
