Crime alerts for Beverly Grove, 11 other L.A. neighborhoods
Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 12 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Eight neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Beverly Grove (A) was the most unusual, recording seven reports compared with a weekly average of 1.6 over the last three months.
Winnetka (I) topped the list of four neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 21 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 16.6 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for Feb. 5–Feb. 11, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
