Hugh Hefner's son arrested on suspicion of domestic violence

A son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner was arrested Sunday evening at a Pasadena home on suspicion of domestic violence, police said.

Marston Hefner, 21, was taken into custody by Pasadena police after officers responded to a domestic assault call, said Lt. Rick Aversano of the Pasadena Police Department.

Police officers went to the home on the 100 block of West Del Mar Boulevard, where they determined  Hefner's girlfriend had suffered minor injuries consistent with an assault, Aversano said.

Officers arrested Hefner on misdemeanor domestic violence, and he was released shortly after 2 a.m. Monday on $20,000 bond.
