February 25, 2012 | 10:33 pm

Three Compton residents were arrested Saturday on suspicion of burglary for allegedly attempting to steal copper from a vacant home, authorities said.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on Tamarind Avenue shortly after 10:30 a.m. and heard voices coming from underneath the house, department officials said.

Deputies arrested Guillermo Fraire, 19, and Michele Damato, 18, both of whom were under the house. Fatima Alvaro, 25, was found in a car parked outside the house and was also arrested.

Inside the car, deputies found copper pipes that had been taken from another home, department officials said.

All three suspects were booked at the Century Regional Detention Facility. Each has a bail of $50,000.
