Woman dies after apparently falling into Huntington Harbor

A 30-year-old Sunset Beach woman drowned after she apparently slipped off a dock and fell into the water at Huntington Harbor, officials said Tuesday night.

The woman's name has not been released because authorities have not notified all of her relatives, the Huntington Beach Police Department said.

The woman was taken earlier Tuesday to Huntington Beach Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

An exact cause of death will be determined by the Orange County coroner's office.
