Two men fatally shot in La Habra

Police were investigating Friday the fatal shooting of two men outside a La Habra home.

La Habra police said they received a call about 7:15 p.m. Thursday about shots being fired in the 500 block of South Clifton Street. When officers arrived, they found two men wounded outside the residence.

Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics rendered first aid before taking them to a hospital, where they died, authorities said.

The gunshot victims were identified as Nick Burresch, 24, and Phillip Reinig, 30, both of La Habra.

Investigators did not have any information on suspects or on any possible vehicle used in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the La Habra Police Department at (562) 905-9750 or the anonymous tip line at (562) 905-9611.
