Police search for suspected child molester using social network
San Bernardino police are searching for a suspected child molester accused of repeatedly assaulting a 13-year-old girl he met on a social networking website, authorities said.
Police believe the suspect, Michael Ray White, 60, has been staying in hotels and living on the streets around the San Bernardino area, Capt. Gwendolyn Waters said in a statement released Thursday.
White allegedly lured the 13-year-old victim to a motel room after chatting with her online. Authorities are “greatly concerned” that he may be preying on other underage victims.
Police said White’s car is a white, 4-door 2011 Kia with a license of 6NES021.
