Brief connection: Riding the bus next to a stranger is common in Los Angeles, but once in a while people make a connection. Rinzi Ruiz captured this moment on a bus downtown in October. Ruiz used a Nikon D700 camera.

The photo was also featured in an exhibit at the Hatakeyama Gallery downtown last month.
