Karl Gerber was perched atop a hotel in downtown Los Angeles this last Sunday when he happened upon this unexpected scene. "I went to the roof of the hotel at South Grand Avenue, hoping for a good view of the sunset ahead," Gerber said. "Looking around I spotted this young couple on top of the Commercial Exchange Building on 8th Street and Olive. They must have had the same idea, but I had the better camera."
