Two rail cars derail in Long Beach; fire crews on scene

Two railroad cars derailed Tuesday afternoon in Long Beach, but no injuries were reported, officials said.

The cars contained non-hazardous substances, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The agency was assisting the Long Beach Fire Department at the scene near Sepulveda Boulevard and Willow Street. It was unclear what caused the derailment.

No other details were immediately available.
