Lion cubs are house trained at O.C. Zoo

A 6-month-old female mountain lion receives training at its new home at the Orange County Zoo on Thursday. The lion and a male littermate were rescued in Oregon and relocated to the O.C. Zoo on Dec. 3.  It is believed they were orphaned after their mother was hit by a car. The cubs remain in quarantine awaiting modifications to their new exhibit. They will be on display in approximately 2 to 3 months, zoo officials say.
