Crime alerts for Reseda, Larchmont and 8 other L.A. neighborhoods

Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 10 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of Los Angeles Police Department data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.

Five neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Reseda (A) was the most unusual, recording eight reports compared with a weekly average of 3.6 over the last three months.

Larchmont (F) topped the list of five neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 11 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 4.9 over the last three months.

Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for Jan. 18–24, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
