Heather Locklear 'under evaluation' at hospital, officials say
Actress Heather Locklear remained at a Ventura County hospital on Friday and is being evaluated by doctors, the hospital said.
Locklear was taken to the hospital after emergency personnel responded to her Thousand Oaks home shortly before 2 p.m. Thursday, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.
A 911 call was made from Locklear's home earlier in the day, prompting the response by rescue personnel. Her actual condition is now known.
"She is still with us, she's resting comfortably and she is being evaluated," Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center spokeswoman Kris Carraway-Bowman told the Associated Press. The 50-year-old "Melrose Place" actress was receiving one-on-one care in the ICU, she said.
"She is in no danger and she's going to be just fine," according to a statement issued by her parents and Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center and obtained by People magazine.
