Police investigate body found near Silver Lake

A body was found Thursday on Riverside Drive near Silver Lake, authorities said.

The body was found in a bush near the 2 Freeway on-ramp about 9 a.m. by CHP officers, said Officer Cleon Joseph of the Los Angeles Police Department.

An investigation was being conducted by the LAPD. No other information was available.
