Actor James Farentino dies at 73
James Farentino, a stage, film and television actor who starred in "The Bold Ones: The Lawyers" TV series, died Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a lengthy illness, family spokesman Bob Palmer said. He was 73.
Farentino made his Broadway debut in a 1961 production of "Night of the Iguana" and played Stanley Kowalski in a 1973 revival of "A Streetcar Named Desire."
His movie roles include "The Pad and How to Use It" (1966).
In 1994 Farentino pleaded no contest to stalking his ex-girlfriend, Tina Sinatra.
Farentino is survived by his fourth wife, Stella, and two sons, David and Saverio.
