Two dead in freeway crash east of San Diego

Two people were killed Friday night in a fiery car crash on California 125 east of San Diego, the California Highway Patrol said.

Three vehicles collided about 5:30 p.m. and two of the vehicles burst into flames. The collision occurred south of Interstate 8, near the suburb of La Mesa.
