Teen arrested in fatal Huntington Beach park stabbing

A teenager has been arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at a park in Huntington Beach.

Dylan James Austin, 19, of Huntington Beach, was the city's fourth homicide victim this year.

Lt. Russell Reinhart also said the suspects have been narrowed down to one juvenile who lives in Garden Grove. Police arrested two adults and two juveniles Thursday morning in connection with the slaying at Lark View Park.

Three others initially arrested have now been released pending further investigation, Reinhart said. The fourth has been booked on suspicion of murder at Orange County Juvenile Hall, he said.

Detectives arrested the suspect and three others during a vehicle stop about 10:30 a.m. near Garden Grove Boulevard and Gilbert Street in Garden Grove. Officers also recovered a bloody knife Thursday morning near the scene of the crime, Reinhart told the Huntington Beach Independent.
