Reward offered in theft of Christmas package from San Diego home

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a thief who stole a Fed-Ex package containing Christmas presents from the porch of a home in a mid-city neighborhood of San Diego.

Inside the package was a bottle of wine and a therapy pillow, according to San Diego County Crime Stoppers.

The thief, described as 20 to 25 years old, around 5 feet 11 and 175 pounds, with a thick ponytail, allegedly followed the Fed-Ex truck and then snatched the package from the porch. The theft, which occurred Dec. 14 at 2 p.m., was captured on a security camera, officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call (888) 580-8477.
