Earthquake: 3.2 quake hits near Pinnacles
A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Monday evening two miles from Pinnacles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 9:06 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.2 mile.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 14 miles from Soledad, 18 miles from Greenfield, 24 miles from King City and 68 miles from San Jose City Hall.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
