Pasadena police seek identity of injured pedestrian

Pasadena police are seeking the public's help in identifying a young female pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured.

The  victim is hospitalized after being hit near Orange Grove Boulevard and Sierra Bonita Avenue, police said.

No family members or friends have come forward to identify the victim, described as an African American, about 15 years old, 5 feet tall, weighing about 110 pounds. Police said she was wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt with DC in white letters on the front and back, and white and red DC tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about her is asked to call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4241.
