Authorities seek more leads after arrest of Bellflower High coach

Detectives searched Wednesday for more potential alleged victims of a Bellflower High School girls basketball and track coach arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a former student.

Bryan Shepherd, 47, who has lived in Torrance, assaulted the victim during a four-year period, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Shepherd was being held in lieu of $3-million bail after the arrest Tuesday by sheriff's detectives.

Anyone with information about other alleged victims is asked to contact detectives at (866) 247-5877. Anonymous tips can be left at (800) 222-8477.
