Metrolink train strikes person in Pacoima

A person was struck by a Metrolink train Friday evening in Pacoima, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The accident occurred about 7:45 p.m. at San Fernando Road and Osborne Street, said the Fire Department's Cecil Manresa.

The person was taken to a hospital but the victim's condition was unknown.

Further details of the incident were not immediately available.
