High winds: No further flight delays at LAX

Los Angeles International Airport reported no more weather-related delays Thursday morning for arriving and departing flights.

A total of 23 inbound flights were diverted to other airports in the region earlier due to wind-related issues, but the travelers have already been bused to LAX, airport officials said.

One of the diverted planes remained at Ontario Airport, but the travelers have been taken to LAX.

LAX officials were still advising customers to check with their airlines before flying.

Wind knocked out power at the airport Wednesday evening and debris was strewn across two runways on the south side of the airport, causing officials to close them for safety.
