Crime alerts for Chatsworth and five other L.A. neighborhoods
Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in six L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Four neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Chatsworth (A) was the most unusual, recording four reports compared with a weekly average of 1.1 over the last three months.
Pacoima (E) topped the list of two neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 31 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 22.6 over the last three months.
Alerts are based on an analysis of crime reports for Dec. 11–Dec. 17, the most recent seven days for which data are available.
