As strong winds continued to blow through Southern California on Friday, 2,626 Southern California Edison customers, mostly in the San Gabriel Valley, were without power.

At the height of the winds Thursday afternoon, an estimated 20,000 customers did not have electricity, according to the utility.

The National Weather Service has issued a high-wind warning for Ventura and Los Angeles counties through Saturday afternoon. Winds are expected to reach 25 to 45 mph with gusts up to 70 mph.
