Four shot outside house party in Florence-Firestone

Four people suffered minor injuries after they were shot in a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in the unincorporated area of Florence-Firestone, authorities said.

The shooting occured at about 12:35 a.m. Sunday outside a house party on the 9500 block of Parmelee Avenue, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Bruce Waldo. The victims included a 13-year old male, two 16-year old females and a 20-year old male, he said.

Waldo said the victims, whose names have not been released, were exiting the house at the time of the shooting and that none of them saw the shooter. Their injuries were not life-threatening, he said.

He encouraged anyone with additional information on the incident to contact the Sheriff's Deptartment's Century Station at (323) 568-4800.
