Edison shooting: Gunman was employee, source says
The man shot a male and female employee before killing himself, police say.
Authorities have not identified the attacker or suggested a motive.
The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the gunman worked as a systems analyst.
At a news conference, police said employees at the sprawling office complex were being let out of their offices but would be interviewed for several hours.
The shooting prompted a lockdown at several schools as officials determined whether the gunman was still alive.
The attack occurred about 2 p.m. at 4910 Rivergrade Road. Employees were seen on the television news walking out of the building with their arms up.
