Eastside shooting victim identified

Authorities on Monday identified the victim of an apparent gang-related shooting over the weekend as Eduardo Gonzalez, 41.

Gonzalez was driving a friend's pickup truck Saturday afternoon when he was shot at East 6th Street and Euclid Avenue, according to detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Hollenbeck division. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
