Any superstitious couples who want to get married on 11/11/11 won’t be able to tie the knot at the L.A. County clerk’s office.

A spokeswoman for the office reiterated Thursday the department will be closed for Veterans Day and will not be holding weddings or issuing licenses.

Couples can get married “at other agencies that are open if they have gotten their license already,” said Marcia Ventura, a spokeswoman for the L.A. County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk. “Usually we take them by appointment anyway, so we would have told them that we’re not open.”
