Verizon technician accused of sexual battery in customer's home
A Verizon technician has been arrested on suspicion of sexual battery of a 76-year-old customer in Thousand Oaks.
The customer reported that Tony Betancourt, 56, went to her home Nov. 2 to do some work and afterward committed sexual battery on her, according to a report from the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, which provides police services to Thousand Oaks.
Betancourt was arrested this week, the department said.
