Vandals smash store windows on Ventura Boulevard Nov 14 2011

Police were searching Tuesday for vandals who smashed several windows along Ventura Boulevard and Sherman Way in the San Fernando Valley.

Four businesses' windows were shattered between 9 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Monday by either a marble or pellet gun, said Sgt. Steve Gottschalk of the LAPD's Van Nuys station.

Three businesses were in Sherman Oaks, between 14900 and 15300 Ventura Boulevard, and another was in Van Nuys on the 14100 block of Sherman Way, he said.

No one was injured and no property was taken from the businesses. Police had no information on a suspect or suspects.
