Police release photo of man held in deadly Redlands bar shooting

Redlands PD Randy OrtisThe Redlands Police Department on Monday released a booking photo of a man arrested in connection with a deadly shooting outside a downtown bar.

Randy Orits, 22, a San Bernardino resident, was taken into custody after police released video surveillance footage showing a man firing a handgun at people at Charlie Jewell's  on East State Street. The shooting left a  22-year-old man dead and a 23-year-old man injured.

Police said in a statement Monday that investigators were trying to identify other people seen in the video. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Rob Williams at (909) 798-7688.
