Fire destroys townhouse construction in Brentwood

More than 100 Los Angeles firefighters subdued a blaze that destroyed a townhouse complex under construction in Brentwood Thursday morning.

No one was hurt in the fire, which ignited shortly before 4 a.m. at 12315 W. Gorham Ave., according to an Los Angeles Fire Department report.

A nearby apartment complex was evacuated as a precaution.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known Thursday morning.
