'Final Destination 3' actor arrested on drunk driving charge

An actor from "Final Destination 3" and "Pretty Little Liars" was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk in Newport Beach, police said Tuesday.

Ryan Earl Merriman, 28, of Choctaw, Okla., was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Sunday after police pulled him over near East Coast Highway and Bayside Drive, police spokeswoman Kathy Lowe said.

Merriman's bail was set at $2,500 and he was released at 9 a.m. Monday, Lowe told the Daily Pilot.

Merriman has also appeared in "Smallville," "The Pretender" and "The Ring Two," according to the Internet Movie Database.
