3 arrested in West Hollywood pot dispensary robbery

Three men were arrested in the armed robbery of a medical marijuana dispensary in West Hollywood.

The suspects entered Farmacy-Medical Marijuana Dispensary in the 7000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday and pointed guns at the employees. The six employees were tied up and made to lie down in the back of the store. The store manager was ordered to open the safe, according to a statement from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.

They stole an unspecified amount of money, several containers of marijuana and cellphones from the store employees.

Sheriff's deputies tracked down the three suspects at a home in Lancaster, where they were identified by the victims. A search of the home turned up stolen property as well as a weapon used in the crime, according to the sheriff's statement.

Derrick Devon Jones, 30, of Los Angeles; Willie David Johnson, 35, of Lancaster and Terrence Terrill Brown, 29, of Compton, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and kidnapping.
