'Bonnie' Pointer of Pointer Sisters arrested on drug charge
Patricia "Bonnie" Pointer, a member of the Pointer Sisters singing group, was arrested Friday morning in Los Angeles on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, authorities said.
Pointer was taken into custody at 12:38 a.m. in the 1700 block of 125th Street in South Los Angeles by L.A. County Sheriff's Department deputies after a traffic stop.
She was released on $10,000 bond and due in Inglewood court in January.
