Man dies in jump from USC parking structure, police report

Usc Los Angeles police are investigating the death of a man who they said jumped off a USC parking structure Wednesday near 34th and Figueroa streets.

The man, who has not been identified, jumped from the structure about 7:15 a.m., said LAPD spokesman Richard French.

USC officials notified students that Parking Structure D would be closed until further notice because of an  LAPD investigation.

They advised those who usually use the lot to instead use the parking center on 35th Street between Hope Street and Grand Avenue.
