Lone protester launches Occupy USC vigil
As anti-greed protesters camped on the sidewalk outside Los Angeles City Hall for a third night, a lone student launched his own sleep-in at USC.
A student identified only as Alex on the USC online news site Neon Tommy held a solitary Occupy USC vigil Monday night inspired by the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York.
Others have sprung up around the nation, including downtown in Los Angeles.
Alex, a sophomore majoring in film and television, said Monday he planned on staying through the night and returning as often as his class schedule would allow, according to the report.
