Woman found dead in apparent shooting in Van Nuys

Hr Los Angeles police are investigating the apparent fatal shooting of a woman in Van Nuys.

The woman's body was discovered in the 14000 block of Victory Boulevard near Hazeltine Avenue shortly before 4 a.m. Tuesday, said a Los Angeles police spokeswoman.

Detectives were investigating and no further details were immediately available.
