The attack occurred around 7 p.m., and the woman was able to fight off her attacker, according to Long Beach police Sgt. Rico Fernandez. The woman was treated at a hospital for injuries she suffered during the assault, he said.

The woman was discovered by an instructor, who alerted police, Fernandez said. The restroom is in Building D at Carson Street and Clark Avenue.
