Monterey Park police fatally shoot man

Hr Monterey Park police shot and killed a man early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The fatal shooting took place just after midnight in the 200 block of North McPherrin Avenue.

No officers were injured.

The identity of the man, who died at the scene, has not been released.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators were assisting police in the investigation.
