Man's death near Lake Arrowhead investigated as homicide

Arrow An unidentified man was found dead in the office of the historic Antler’s Inn near Lake Arrowhead in what the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department suspects was a homicide, authorities said Thursday.

Deputies were called to the inn on Highway 189 in the mountain community of Twin Peaks at 10:40 p.m. and found the man dead upstairs, apparently from blunt force trauma to the head.

Homicide detectives are investigating the death. The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, authorities said.
